Vinyasa Classes

What is vinyasa anyway?

Vinyasa is a dynamic style of yoga that emphasizes the coordination of breath with movement.  The word ‘vinyasa’ can be translated as “to place in a special way”, and in the context of yoga: to place in a special way synchronised with breath.

Because of the flowing nature of vinyasa it also tends to be quite energetic – so expect to have an elevated heart rate during the class, and definitely expect to feel some muscle burn!

Please note for July, week commencing the 14th:

  • The Wednesday 16th Vinyasa class has been cancelled due to holiday!

  • The Vinyasa class on Friday 18th 12.30pm has been replaced with a Yin Yoga session, the following week will revert back to Vinyasa.
